Police: Alcohol, Speeding Likely Factors in Fatal Crash

Authorities in Maine say alcohol and speeding appear to be factors in a fatal crash Sunday night.

The crash, which happened just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Molunkus, Rowell Mountain roads and Route 43, killed 54-year-old Stanley Johnson of Madison, according to WCSH.

Police say Johnson hit a guard rail with his pickup truck and lost control, rolling over several times before ending on the opposite side of Rowell Mountain Road.

He was pronounced dead a the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
