Police: Couple Found in SUV Was Shot to Death

A couple found dead Christmas morning in a parked SUV in Maine were the victims of a homicide, police said Saturday.

Autopsies confirmed that 35-year-old Eric Williams and 26-year-old Bonnie Royer suffered from gunshot wounds.

The victims were found around 3:30 a.m. in Williams'  SUV, parked on Sanford Road, a dirt road in Manchester. One of the victims called 911, and officers discovered the bodies near the Augusta line.

Williams and Royer lived together on Easy Street, less than a mile from where the bodies were found.

Police are looking for anyone who had contact with the victims on Dec. 24 or 25.
