Police Investigating 7 Overnight Burglaries

The burglaries all occurred overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

Authorities are investigating after at least seven burglaries took place on the U.S. Route 202 corridor in Maine.

Sgt. Frank Hatch tells the Kennebec Journal the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office is looking into break-ins at three Manchester businesses. Winthrop police Chief Ryan Frost says that one business was burglarized in nearby Winthrop.

Lt. Walter Grzyb says state police are also investigating three break-ins in Greene. He says cash totaling less than $1,000 was stolen from Steel It roofing.

The burglaries all occurred overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

Investigators from all three agencies are working together. They believe the burglaries are connected.
