Portland police are seeking a suspect in a fatal shooting at an apartment building in Portland run by an organization that offers mental health services.

Police say 36-year-old David Anderson of Portland was killed and another man wounded around 11 p.m. Tuesday in an apartment at Shalom House.

Police want to question a man who was seen on surveillance video fleeing the building. He was described as white and around 6 feet tall, and was wearing black pants and a black jacket with a hood.

Portland police detectives were working with the state medical examiner's office and the attorney general's office on the investigation.
