Scene Clear After Suspicious Package Left at Planned Parenthood in Portland, Maine

Police investigated a report of a suspicious package left at a Planned Parenthood center in Portland, Maine.

Authorities set up a perimeter in the area of Congress Street in Monument Square.

Portland Police retweeted a Portland Press Herald reporter explaining that 443 Congress Street had been evacuated. The department also retweeted a photo of a robot approaching the package.

Portland Poice later reported that the bomb squad determined that the device was no an explosive.

The street will re-open soon.
