Rescuers Need Rescuing After Boat Capsizes

Good Samaritans who tried to come to the aid of a man whose boat was taking water on the Androscoggin River in Turner, Maine, ended up needing rescuing themselves.

According to necn affiliate WCSH, Todd Buckley and Deniz Burnham were training in a seaplane when they noticed the man struggling on the river.

As they attempted to taxi the man’s boat the engine ripped off the mount and their own vessel began to sink.

Buckley  and local law enforcement and helped get everyone, including three kids, to shore.

Local law enforcement is reminding people to use common sense in the water.
