Officials say a Portland, Maine, middle school has been evacuated because of smoke.
Officials say smoke filled the King Middle School gymnasium when power was restored following an outage Friday morning. The Portland Fire Department said in a tweet that there was a fire in ductwork.
Patty Apon from the superintendent's office says officials are still assessing the situation. There were no reports of injuries.
