Search Continues for 2 Bodies After Boat Capsizes in Maine

Game wardens have resumed their search for the bodies of two men missing after a boat capsized on a lake in northern Maine.

Wardens say the body of 56-year-old Martin Chambers, of Fort Fairfield, was recovered Wednesday. They're still looking for his brother, 51-year-old Mark Chambers, and another man, 43-year-old Eric Sherwood.

The sole survivor was 23-year-old Charles Guimond. All were from Fort Fairfield.

Wardens say the men's boat began taking on water late Tuesday afternoon in windy conditions on Square Lake in Aroostook County.

Cpl. John MacDonald said the men clung to the capsized boat for hours in 58-degree water as night fell. Wardens say the survivor, who made it to shore Wednesday morning, is believed to be the only one who wore a life jacket.
