An 18-year-old student at Piscataquis Community High School in Guilford, Maine, has been charged with receiving and sharing child pornography after allegedly sexting with a 13-year-old girl.

District Attorney Christopher Almy says Keenan Larry of Abbot faces at least five years in prison if convicted of felony charges, including sexual exploitation of a minor.

Almy tells WZON-AM that teens should think twice before sending an explicit text because they can end up in the wrong hands "and before you know it, these videos are all over the place."

A police affidavit indicates Larry allegedly pressured the 13-year-old to make the video.

Larry was suspended from school and was arrested Monday. He's due for an initial court appearance on May 4. He couldn't be reached immediately for comment; his home phone number was disconnected.
