Authorities in Maine say two people were killed in a crash over the weekend.

Police say the crash happened Sunday night in Sanford.

Investigators say 20-year-old Blake Deslauriers, of Springvale, was speeding when the vehicle left the road, went airborne and struck a tree.

Deslauriers and his passenger, 37-year-old Danielle Harrison, of Sanford, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
