Woman Dies From Injuries Suffered in Motorcycle Crash

Daveen Bell died recently following the July 2 crash on Route 133

Police say a Naples, Maine, woman injured in a motorcycle crash in Livermore Falls earlier this month has died.

Chief Ernest Steward Jr. tells the Sun Journal that 47-year-old Daveen Bell died recently following the July 2 crash on Route 133.

Steward says Bell's husband, 49-tear-old Troy Bell, who was operating the motorcycle, remains in critical condition at a hospital. Neither husband nor wife was wearing a helmet.

Steward says Troy Bell was following a pickup truck driven by a Wayne man. As the truck was making a right turn, Bell tried to pass him on the right and hit the truck.

Daveen Bell was a longtime bus driver for the school district covering Bridgeton, Casco, Sebago and Naples.
