Puppy Found After Stolen From Pet Store in Oxford, Maine

Police say an eight-week-old puppy stolen from a pet store in Oxford, Maine, has been found.

On Jan. 9, Mainely Puppies posted these photos on their Facebook page. The store says a woman came in around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, placed the Cockerpoo in her coat and left.

The suspect appeared to be between 40 and 50 years old and wore an olive green jacket. 

Police are in possession of security footage. 

Police say they received several tips from the public after the social media posts. After following several leads, police were able to locate the dog on Monday. 

Authorities say the woman was not home when they found the dog at her house. They are still trying to locate her.
