Police in Brentwood, New Hampshire, say a man in a pick-up truck tried to abduct a 10-year-old boy Tuesday evening.
The attempted abduction happened in the area of Mary Vey Drive and Mill Road around 6:10 p.m.
The suspect, who was balding, tried unsuccessfully to usher the boy in the vehicle. The vehicle, which was red and had a white stripe along the side, had New Hampshire Registration plates.
According to the Union Leader, police said the man showed no weapons and made no threats.
The boy ran away from the scene and ran home to tell his parents.
