Authorities asking for public's help in identifying man

New Hampshire State Police are searching for the man they said burglarized the State House in Concord early Saturday morning.

The man was captured on a surveillance photo in the early morning hours.

Authorities are hoping that someone will recognize the man and contact police.

Governor Maggie Hassan, Senate President Chuck Morse and Speaker Shawn Jasper released a statement following the burglary.

“The State House is a repository to numerous treasures that tell the story of our history as a state and as a people. We are grateful that while there was some damage done in the course of this burglary, none of our treasures appear to be lost and none of the damage appears irreversible. We will provide additional information as the investigation progresses and after the damage is fully assessed."
