A man was struck by a car Thursday evening in Manchester, New Hampshire, officials confirm.
According to Manchester Fire, the victim was hit at the corner of Hanover Street and Mammoth Road just before 8 p.m.
The driver pulled over a block away, telling authorities he or she did not realize a person had been hit.
The victim, a middle-aged man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
