Man Dead, Another Injured Following Shooting in Manchester, NH

The investigation into a fatal overnight shooting in Manchester is ongoing

One man is dead and another man was injured following an overnight shooting in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at about 3 a.m. on Sagamore Street, according to officials. When they arrived, authorities found a deceased victim and an injured victim.

Kevin Denbow, 37, of Manchester, has been identified as the man shot and killed. An autopsy determined his cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

The extent of the surviving victim's injuries is unclear. Officials originally said the surviving victim suffered an apparent stab wound, but later said it was a gunshot wound.

One neighbor told NBC10 Boston she woke up to two people shouting.

"One of them was yelling, 'I've been stabbed, I've been stabbed,'" Sheila Lemos said. "The other person, it appeared he might have been on a cell phone calling for help."

Details on what led up to the shooting were not immediately available, and no arrests have been made. At least one person was interviewed at the scene.

The Manchester Police Department and the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office are investigating the incident.
