One person has been arrested and another is being sought in connection with the murder of a California man in Attleboro, Massachusetts, earlier this month, according to the Bristol County district attorney's office.
Job Williams, 33, of Dorchester, was arrested in the Bronx section of New York City Friday morning and charged with murder in the death of 34-year-old Thomas Pomare of Santa Barbara, California.
Police are looking for 26-year-old South Boston resident Jaquan Cohen, who is also facing a murder charge. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Cohen's arrest.
Cohen is considered to be armed and dangerous and people are advised not to approach him.
Investigators said they received a 911 call on Dec. 4 from someone who said his brother had been shot in a South Avenue home. The caller said two people were in the home looking to steal marijuana.
Officers arrived and found Pomare in cardiac arrest. CPR was performed on him and he was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Meanwhile, police made two other arrests in connection with the deadly shooting.

Christopher Johnson of Attleboro was charged with misleading a criminal investigation in connection with the crime. He pleaded not guilty and was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail on this charge; bail in two unrelated cases was revoked.
Malden resident Archie Charles was also arrested, although it's unclear what charges he's facing in connection with the shooting.
Williams will be charged as a fugitive from justice in a Bronx court. It's unclear if he will waive rendition and be taken back to Massachusetts for arraignment on the murder charge next week.
