Massachusetts State Police have arrested a man accused of fleeing from a trooper in his vehicle during a traffic stop and leading police on a pursuit.
The officer stopped the vehicle in Leominster on I-495 at 1:06 Friday morning.
While speaking to the operator, the vehicle began to drive away and police began the pursuit.
The vehicle was stopped on I-290 westbound in Auburn after a tire deflation device was deployed.
The driver was identified as Dominic May, 20, of Springfield, who was found to be in possession of an ammunition-feeding device loaded with bullets.
May was charged with failure to stop for police, speeding, possessing alcohol under 21 and operating under the influence of drugs, among other charges.
May will be arraigned at the Clinton District Court Friday.
