One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in South Dennis, Massachusetts, that happened Thursday morning, according to police.
The incident happened at 8:11 a.m. on Old Chatham Road near Atlantic Avenue.
Officers found a 2004 Mustang left the roadway and struck a tree. The victim, 25-year-old Cody Hunter of Yarmouth, was pinned inside the vehicle.
The Jaws of Life were used to pull Hunter from the car.
He was pronouced dead on the scene.
Initial investigation shows that the vehicle was operating as a high speed when it went off the roadway.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
