A forklift carrying a shipping container tipped forward at the Conley Terminal in South Boston Friday morning, leaving its operator injured, authorities said.
The forklift could be seen leaning dramatically forward, resting on the container in front of it, in footage captured by NBC10 Boston's Sky Ranger helicopter. Several workers and emergency responders were seen surrounding the vehicle.
Massachusetts Port Authority, which owns the terminal, said the incident happened at 11 a.m. The operator of the forklift was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
