Boston Fire says one person was injured in a fire in the city's Dorchester neighborhood Tuesday morning.

The heavy fire at 50 Barry St. has since been knocked down. The fire started in the basement and extended to the first floor.

One resident was transported for a non-life-threatening injury.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
