11 Displaced, 1 Firefighter Injured in 4-Alarm Fire

Officials believe the fire likely started in the rear of the building because of an electrical issue

One firefighter was injured and 11 people were displaced after a 4-alarm fire at a three-story building in Lawrence, Massachusetts, tore through a building Monday morning.

Crews have extinguished the fire on Bromfield Street, which was called in around 1:40.

The firefighter injured was transported to a hospital and is expected to be alright.

Officials believe the fire likely started in the rear of the building because of an electrical issue.

Red Cross is assisting those displaced by the fire.
