2 Women Arrested on Human Trafficking Charges in Chinatown

Two women were arrested Monday for human trafficking charges after the Boston Police Department investigated the case along with the FBI.

Authorities said the investigation led officials to Boston's Chinatown neighborhood, where human trafficking crimes were allegedly taking place.

Shortly after noon, police arrested Mei Zhang, 44, of Boston and Zhou Feng, 57, of Medford on human trafficking charges. Officials did not elaborate on what their alleged actions were.

The two women are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Boston Municipal Court. It is unclear if either suspects have an attorney.
