2nd Arrest Made in Connection With Fatal Drug-Related Shooting

A second arrest has been made in connection with a fatal shooting in Massachusetts that police say was drug-related.

Archie Charles, 25, of Malden, was arrested and arraigned Friday in Attleboro District Court, according to the Bristol County district attorney's office. It is unclear what charges he is facing.

Police say they received a 911 call Monday night from someone who said his brother had been shot in an Attleboro home. The caller said two people were in the home looking to steal marijuana.

The victim was later identified as Thomas Pomare, of Santa Barbara, California.

Earlier this week Christopher Johnson of Attleboro was charged with misleading a criminal investigation in connection with the crime. He pleaded not guilty and was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail. Johnson's bail on two other unrelated cases was revoked.

The incident remains under investigation.
