2nd Staff Member of Mass. School Resigns Amid Alleged Misconduct

A second staff member has resigned following misconduct allegations among administration and staff at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

In a statement, the president of the school announced that long-time teacher John Housianitis had stepped down, saying, “John's violation of our policies was regrettable, however, it was not physically harmful to any student."

That resignation was effective last month.

Housianitis was on administrative leave for allegedly posting compromising photos on a dating website.

Another administrator resigned earlier this year after being accused of sending inappropriate messages to a 2016 graduate.

Before that, an administrator was fired after a former male student accused him of rape. That claim remains under investigation, though no charges have been filed.
