Three people, including two young children, were hit by a car Friday evening in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Police say a family of four was crossing Fletcher Street in a crosswalk when a 22-year-old man and his two daughters, a 2-year-old and a 9-month-old, were hit around 5:30 p.m.
The mother was not struck.
Police say the children were not ejected from the twin stroller in which they were riding. The father was knocked up onto the car and then thrown tto the pavement.
All three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Lowell General Hospital, but the 2-year-old was later transported to Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
The driver remained on the scene and has not been cited, but the crash remains under investigation.
