Four people are displaced after a two-alarm fire in East Boston Monday afternoon.
Fire officials responded just after 1 p.m. to 1215 Bennington St.
The blaze was in the rear of the two-and-a-half story wood frame home.
The chief estimates the damage to be $150,000.

Investigators have determined a composting barrel against the house caused the fire. The decomposing of the material in the barrel generated enough heat over time to ignite.
No one was injured.
