76-Year-Old Sentenced for Sexually Assaulting Boys

The Berkshire Eagle reports that Arturo Bravo entered the last-minute plea in Berkshire Superior Court

A 76-year-old Massachusetts man is headed to prison for up to a decade after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting three boys at his Berkshire County cabin over a 12-year period.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that Arturo Bravo entered the last-minute plea in Berkshire Superior Court on Thursday to more than a dozen charges including rape and abuse of a child without force. His trial was expected to start this week.

Authorities say the victims had been hired to do odd jobs around Bravo's cabin in Becket. One victim said he was abused on at least 10 different occasions starting in 2002. Bravo was arrested and charged in September 2014.

He faces similar charges in Connecticut.
