Police in Falmouth, Massachusetts, say an arrest has been made after a woman was attacked by a man with a knife Thursday evening.
Police received a report of the attack around 5:38 p.m.
Officers arrived to find several people restraining the suspect, who has not been identified.
The suspect was arrested and was charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and kidnapping. He is currently being held without bail.
The victim was transported by MedFlight to a Boston-area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
