Authorities are responding to a hazmat situation at federal court, Boston Police confirm.
Crews responded to the scene at the Moakley Federal Courthouse around 3:30 p.m.
Police say they are investigating an envelope with white powder inside. Hazmat technicians reported that initial tests on the powder did not yield any danger, but the substance is taken to the state lab for further tests.
