A baby girl has tragically passed away after she and her mother were struck by a car Thursday night in Boston.
Police confirmed around 3:15 p.m. Friday that the 5-month-old girl had died.
The woman was carrying her infant daughter across Humboldt Avenue in Roxbury when a car struck them.
Both victims were taken to Boston Medical Center with head trauma.
The mother is expected to be OK.
Police say the driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating.
