The body of an 81-year-old man was found in a pond in Andover, Massachusetts, on Friday morning.
Andover Police said they received a call around 7:50 a.m. reporting that a body was in a small pond at 233 Holt Road.
The medical examiner and the district attorney's office responded to the scene.
Andover Police said they are continuing to investigate the man's death, but foul play is not suspected. A preliminary investigation indicates that the man may have had an underlying health condition. His body has been taken to the state medical examiner's office.
"On behalf of the entire community, our thoughts and prayers are with the victim's family during this difficult time," Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe said.
