A Boston-bound flight had to make an emergency landing in New Jersey Wednesday.
United Airlines confirms the plane, which departed from San Francisco, was being diverted to Newark due to an unspecified mechanical issue.
The airline said the flight would continue to Boston on a different aircraft.
