With a mass shooting leaving at least 50 people dead in an Orlando gay club, a Boston health organization and advocacy group is looking to help those who need support.
Fenway Community Health confirms it will be discussing the best ways to help people move forward.
"We'll be talking with patients, staff and community leaders about how Fenway can help our local community process, grieve and learn from the unfortunate and heartbreaking events in Orlando," the group said in a statement to necn.
The National Gay Media Association, meanwhile, has set up a GoFundMe page to provide financial support for the victims of the terror attack. The goal, originally, was to raise $500,000, but with thousands of people trying to help, that goal has been increased to $1 million. As of 7 p.m., more than $650,000 had been raised.
