Boston Police Warn of Fentanyl Being Sold as Oxycodone

The drug is being sold to buyers who presume that the pills are Oxycodone tablets

Boston Police are warning the public about potentially-deadly Fentanyl pills being sold on the street as the prescription drug Oxycodone.

The drug is being sold to buyers who presume that the pills, which are marked with the designation A/215, are 30 milligram Oxycodone tablets. But anyone who ingests them may put themselves in danger of overdosing, which could result in death.

Boston Police said they are actively investigating and urge anyone with information to call the drug control unit at 617-343-5625.
