Boston University Dealing With Cases of the Mumps

Boston University is the latest local university dealing with cases of the mumps.

According to The Boston Globe, three undergraduate students at BU have been diagnosed. The school's first case was confirmed more than a week ago.

Mumps at BU follow similar outbreaks at Harvard, Tufts, Bentley and UMass Boston.

Symptoms of the mumps include a swollen jaw, puffy cheeks, a fever and sore muscles. It is highly contagious.
