A car crashed into a 7-Eleven store in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, Wednesday morning.
According to Fairhaven police, the crash happened at the 7-Eleven on Huttleston Avenue around 9:30 a.m.
The elderly driver mistook the brake for the gas, launching the car into the building.
There were no injuries, but the driver was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.
The building appears to be structurally sound; however, 7-Eleven's corporate office said the store will remain closed until it's deemed safe for its employees and customers.
"The safety and well-being of our 7-Eleven employees and customers are of the utmost importance," a spokesperson said.
There are no charges at the time.
