After nearly a decade underwater, a car was pulled Wednesday from a river in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Dartmouth Police shared footage of the joint effort with Taunton Police on Facebook, noting that the Volkswagen Passat had been in the Taunton River for about nine years.
The vehicle, police say, was found during a dive training session last month. It was pulled out of the water in Taunton.
"Imagine diving in root beer, because that's what it's like here today," Dartmouth Police quipped on Facebook.
