There was a crazy scene Wednesday afternoon in Waltham, Massachusetts, as a car lost control and became sandwiched between an industrial sized trash compactor and the outside wall of BJ's.
"That's a once in a lifetime shot," said one BJ's worker, who collects shopping carts in the parking lot of the Seyon Street store.
Emergency officials say they transported two elderly sisters from the vehicle, an 88-year-old and a 92-year-old.
Firefighters say the women were rescued out the side-door window, and were taken out on backboards.
The final police report has yet to be completed, according to investigators, but firefighters say the 88-year-old was driving her sister's car.
They believe the driver hit an island in the parking lot, may have become confused and gassed it through a tree and the parking lot, through a guardrail into the compactor.
Both women were taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital as a precaution and weren't believed to have serious injuries.
