Several lanes were temporarily closed on Interstate 93 on Tuesday afternoon after some concrete debris fell from an overpass.
The debris fell at 3:07 p.m. on I-93 in Andover, Massachusetts, according to state police. At 3:24 p.m., police closed the first and second northbound travel lanes to remove the debris. At 4:40 p.m., three lanes were closed so the Massachusetts Department of Transportation could inspect the overpass.
All lanes reopened shortly before 5 p.m.
Delays were reported by motorists as a result of the incident.
