Two Boston residents are waking up as millionaires after buying winning lottery tickets.
A $3 million ticket was sold at Lanzilli’s Grocery in East Boston, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery. The ticket was deemed a winner because the first five digits drawn matched the game’s Megaplier option.
In Brighton, a $1 million ticket was sold at Lee’s Supermarket. Again, the first five numbers drawn matched the game.
The announcement comes a day after a Northern California resident won the $522 million jackpot.
