Officials at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts are investigating after receiving a report of a rape on campus.
School officials say the rape was reported Tuesday and was said to have taken place in a dorm room.
Officials say the female student was raped by a man who is not a student at the school.
The university has released a statement saying in part, “Bridgewater State has zero tolerance for misconduct, abuse or violence against any members of our campus community and is committed to preventing and holding accountable anyone responsible for acts of physical and sexual assault. Any act of sexual assault is one too many."
