Cops: Shooting Victim Drives Himself to Hospital

An officer in the area heard what he thought was a gun shot and saw the victim driving himself to Boston Medical Center

Boston Police say a man who was shot early Thursday morning in Jamaica Plain drove himself to a hospital, striking two safety poles in the process.

The shooting occurred at Bradgon and Ernst Streets around 1 a.m.

An officer in the area heard what he thought was a gun shot and saw the victim driving himself to Boston Medical Center.

The victim, a male in his 20s, made it to the emergency room, where he received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
