Fire officials in Attleboro, Massachusetts, say a firefighter was injured and a dog died in a house fire Tuesday night.
The fire completely destroyed the home on Marjorie Street, according to necn affiliate WJAR.
The injured firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.
The family will be staying with relatives.
Authorities believe the fire started in the kitchen on the first floor.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
