Two people are dead, and one is injured after a single vehicle roll over crash on the Route 495 South off ramp to Marston in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
According to Massachusetts State Police troopers, Alexander Castro, 23, of Salem, and Wilbert Munoz, 26, of Lawrence were riding in a 1992 Honda Civic, operated by a 22-year-old Lawrence man.
The driver entered the Marston St. off ramp at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate the curve causing the vehicle to drive off the embankment and roll over.
Both Castro and Munoz were fatally injured in the crash. Munoz was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the scene. Castro was taken to Lawrence General Hospital where he later died.
The driver sustained serious injuries and is being medically treated at Beth Israel Hospital.
The cause of the crash in under investigation and no charges are filed against the driver at this time.
