A driver was killed in a crash Thursday morning on I-495 in Norwood, Massachusetts, police confirm.
State police responded just after 7:30 a.m. They say 31-year-old Dominica Howard swerved to avoid a car that changed lanes in front of her when another car hit her Saturn SL2 from behind.
Howard was not wearing a seat belt at the time, according to investigators. She was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Police say the 29-year-old Fall River woman who was driving the Nissan Maxima that hit Howard's car will not be charged. The 47-year-old Norton woman who changed lanes was found and is cooperating with police.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
