A former Southbridge teacher charged with sending nude photos of himself to a high school student has been found guilty.
Telegram & Gazette reports (bit.ly/1TmkRXq) 21-year-old Joseph Zuniga of Webster was found guilty this week of distributing obscene matter to a minor.
He was ordered to serve probation until May 2018 and pay a $1,200 fee.
Police say the former Southbridge High School teacher sent nude photos to the 17-year-old boy through a Facebook message. A school resource officer overheard students talking about it and alerted police.
Zuniga was arrested in October and his employment at the school was terminated. He taught English to non-native speakers.
