Ex-UFC Fighter Due in Court on Domestic Assault Charges

According to police reports, Joshua Grispi, 25, was first arrested on Aug. 1 in Middleboro, Massachusetts

A former UFC fighter accused of beating his wife multiple times over the course of two years and making death threats against her is due in court Monday.

According to police reports, Joshua Grispi, 25, was first arrested on Aug. 1 in Middleboro, Massachusetts. He was charged with domestic assault and battery and two counts of improper storage of firearms.

Police say Grispi had several guns scattered around his home. They reportedly were not properly secured, and some were loaded.

Grispi was able to get out on $2,000 bail.

On Aug. 4, police returned to the home after his wife ran to a neighbor's house, saying Joshua had repeatedly hit her in the head, punched in the side of her vehicle and commanded their dog to attack her.

Her friend told NECN that Kaitlyn suffered a concussion, a broken wrist, and cuts to her leg from dog bites.
