New England Patriots fans gave their team a final send-off Monday before they departed for the Super Bowl in Houston.

The team invited fans to a special Super Bowl send-off rally Monday morning on NRG Plaza outside The Hall at Patriot Place. The rally kicked off with a 9 a.m. musical performance by the Greater Boston Firefighters Pipes and Drums before several current and former players took the stage to speak.

"Now it's starting to feel like the Super Bowl," quarterback Tom Brady said. "It's been a great season. We've accomplished a lot, but we've still got one more to go!

"So get your rest this week, rest up, hydrate, and get ready for Sunday, because it will be a hell of a game. And hopefully, we'll see you back in Foxboro with a win. Go Pats! Let's go!"

Coach Bill Belichick said the game against the Falcons "will be our toughest game" of the season. "This is the best team we've played."

"You are the greatest fans in the world," Patriots owner Robert Kraft told the fans, thanking them for being there since he first purchased the team more than two decades ago.

Special teams captain Matt Slater also thanked the fans for their support. "We're taking a team down to Houston that you guys can all be proud of," he said. "This is a close-knit group. We love playing for one another and we love playing for this city, this town, this region."

Several former Patriots, including Ty Law, Jermaine Wiggins and Scott Zolak also spoke.

"We gonna bring back one more. I guarantee you that. Number 5!" Law said to kick off the rally.

The Patriots won their ninth conference championship with a 36-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Jan. 22. They will face the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
