A Revere, Massachusetts, fire captain will be in court Thursday after allegedly assaulting three children with a golf club.
Prosecutors say Carl Holmberg, 44, hit an 11-year-old and two 14-year-olds after they allegedly cut through his yard on Halloween.
The Suffolk County DA's office said Revere Police smelled alcohol on his breath.
Holmberg's defense claims the kids were creating a disturbance.
He has been suspended from the department.
